I bought this bass guitar two years ago and then almost immediately stopped playing music. 

An instrument this beautiful, I like to pretend that it's cursed and maybe if I sell it, I will start playing again :D

This is definitely a collector's bass. It's in incredible shape all the way down to the original case, which includes the dust cloth and the key to lock it.

I describe it as near mint and not mint because of two very minor blemishes in the finish.
1. At the very top of the headstock there is a smudge.
2. On the back of the body there is a tiny crack in the lacquer. But this is typical to an instrument that's 27 years old!

I have provided large photographs below of these things and more. I hope I captured in the photographs how truly gorgeous this Ric is.

The serial number dates it to 1983. I played it through an Ampeg B15N and it sounds f*king jaw-dropping.
